Roger Pitts is a dynamic teacher and performer. He is a graduate of the Conservatory of Music at UMKC, has a 6 state touring region, and was selected to be a Kennedy Center Teaching Artist. His CD “ Seven Wonders” received an award for songwriting from the Kansas Arts Commission.

Roger has had endorsements with 5 different guitar companies, and now proudly plays and endorses Ibanez Guitars and Strymon Effects!  Other guitar companies include (Schecter, Parker Fly, Alvarez, Dean), as well as Korg Keyboards.  The president of Schecter Guitars sent Roger a brand new 8-string guitar after seeing him perform on a YouTube demo . . . (don't worry, he still likes the 6-string!)

The lessons are structured so that the first half of the lesson covers technique, music theory, ear-training, and sight-reading (all the things you need to know!) – and the second half of the lesson focuses on the songs and styles that interest you the most!

Whether you’ re planning to go into music as a career or just want to be able to play a few of your favorite songs, Roger has the experience and knowledge to help you improve quickly and avoid common mistakes . . . and he makes it fun!  

WEEKLY ONLINE LESSONS ARE $22 PER HALF HOUR BILLED MONTHLY (avg. $88 per month)
